About the property

The Holt is an immaculately finished apartment situated on the top floor of an elegant yet grand period property (which may be rented as a 6 bedroom house), ideally located to appreciate the absolute best Dartmouth has to offer. Enjoy the delights of the town’s vibrant centre and riverside embankment which is just over a 10 minute stroll away and offers a wide range of interesting shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Alternatively walk for just a few minutes in the opposite direction and relax in the peaceful Warfleek Creek area which offers its visitors access to a quiet and secluded part of the river, benches on the water’s edge and a short footpath on to the historic Dartmouth castle and its well-run café. The little-known Gallant’s Bower and Sugary Cove’s delightful beach are also within easy walking distance, perfect for a picnic and some stone skimming.  After a day out exploring, rest in comfort on the property’s raised patio with views of the Dart Valley or in the property itself which boasts two small balconies with enviable river views and a sweeping outlook across Kingswear, Dartmouth and the Royal Britannia Naval College. The property has been stylishly designed to a good spec and presented with the guest in mind, featuring tasteful and comfortable furnishings, a digital television with Netflix and more, as well as an Amazon Alexa for music streaming.

The picturesque town of Dartmouth has much to offer the visitor, with a quayside that enables you to enjoy the spectacle and atmosphere of a busy boating Mecca and its proud naval traditions. Medieval buildings cluster around the embankment and surrounding streets of the old town and provide a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, inns, boutique and curiosity shops. The South West coast path can be accessed directly from town and beaches of the beautiful South Hams are a short drive away, along with the English Riviera and Dartmoor National Park.
