Nearby Kingsbridge and the historic naval town of Dartmouth both have a good variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and a cinema. The sailing town of Salcombe is also easily accessible via Kingsbridge. Slapton sands is a ten minute drive and other beaches are just a few miles away.
