About the property

Petrichor, named after the beautiful scent experienced when rain falls on dry, warm earth on a summer’s day, is perfectly located for a fabulous holiday in the village of Bantham, just moments from the sea. A reverse level property, recently renovated and designed to make the most of the breathtaking views, guests can enjoy breakfast looking out over the river or towards Burgh Island and watching the glorious ever-changing scenery beyond.

With surf school & hire, gastro food experiences at the beach and the fabulous 14th century Sloop Inn serving excellent ales, wine and food, all just a short walk of the doorstep, plus the friendly chatter from the excellent village shop and café next door, Petrichor really is in the heart of the community and couldn’t be better placed for a wonderful stay by the sea.
