If there’s a chill in the air then choose from sitting by the warmth of the fire pit for a spot of stargazing, enjoy a drink or two in the comfort of the hot tub or retreat to the sitting room and cosy up by the log burner with a movie on the smart TV. If home cooking and entertaining is the order of the day then guests can make the most of the large fully-fitted ground floor kitchen/diner, with its huge exposed cross beams, breakfast bar seating and door to the sheltered rear garden with patio.

Located between the villages of Blackawton and Strete, both of which are home to popular pubs and small but well stocked shops, Higher Barn Coombe is also just a short drive to the amenities of Dartmouth town and a number of outstanding sandy beaches and beautiful coastal/waterside villages.

Please note: The Shepherds Hut will only be made up for parties of 10, however should smaller parties still wish it to be set up as a bedroom then please notify us at the time of booking.
