Hillside Annex is a beautiful studio apartment perched on a hilltop looking down towards the Salcombe Estuary. This perfect pad has all you could want whatever the season, theres’ a cosy sofa and log burner in the lounge with views out of the terrace doors, and when the weather warms up the terrace is secluded with super views for enjoying the evening sun and al fresco dining. Hillside Annex is within walking distance of the foot ferry to Salcombe and the famous Gara Rock Resort. This bijou home is perfect for a romantic getaway or single traveller wanting to appreciate the stunning South Hams.

East Portlemouth sits opposite the popular town of Salcombe which is easily accessed from this via the passenger ferry. The village itself has a café , the fabulous Port Waterhouse, with pop up dining events and a bar open seasonally, and some fabulous sandy beaches along with direct access to the South West Coast Path. A very scenic two mile walk takes you to The Gara Rock Resort, serving delicious food with some of the best scenery a restaurant could provide, plus a spa and cinema room. The nearby village of South Pool also boasts a gastro pub, the Millbrook Inn. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is a thirty minute drive away, with shops, pubs, eateries and a cinema and in the other direction along the picturesque coastal road is the historic Naval town of Dartmouth, again well serviced with amenities. This popular location along with this fantastic property have all the ingredients for an idyllic holiday come rain or shine.

Parking:

At certain times of the year parking outside the annex will be available, this can be used for unloading at all times. Parking can be found in the car park or on the lane at the top of the drive.
