About Lannacombe

A holiday in Lannacombe is as unspoilt and relaxed as it gets in the UK, a truly remote, wild and beautiful location. Activities revolve around the great outdoors with lots to do just a few steps from your holiday cottage. Leaving the crowds behind, all ages will enjoy lazy days on the beach spent sunbathing or playing on the sand, swimming, kayaking or exploring the rockpools for tiny sea life and shells.

The South West Coast Path runs through Lannacombe, leading to further beautiful beaches and hidden coves, including stunning Mattiscombe Sands at Start Point. Following the path in the opposite direction takes you through spectacular coastal and rural scenery to the village of East Prawle, where you'll be rewarded with a drink or something to eat at the quirky Pigs Nose Inn. For non-walkers or families with small children, East Prawle can easily be accessed by road from Lannacombe, as can the market town of Kingsbridge where you'll find shops, caf´s and restaurants, as well as boat trips and water sports hire.

At Lannacombe you're also just a few miles from the sailing mecca of Salcombe, where you'll find more beautiful sandy beaches lining the estuary, as well as boat trips, rib rides, paddleboard and kayak hire, and some of the best seafood restaurants, pubs and restaurants in the area.
